I Corinthians 6:19b-20

Ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Don't Break the Ring

Such a simple thing
Just a common symbol
Seems it has wings
To fly away
No one believes it's real
No one sacrifices for it
Tiny piece of shiny steel
Only means a handshake or a deal

You say "I Do"
You join hands and move
Into a holy covenant
Between the Lord and you
The symbol is exchanged
Your lives forever changed
It should not be compromised for anything
Don't break the ring

Neverending love
Commitment and loyalty
Union consecrated above
Portrayed by Jesus and His bride
This time it's for real
Sacrifices will be made
Mold the clay and melt the steel
You must forgive...your debts are paid

You say "I Do"
You join hands and move
Into a holy covenant
Between the Lord and you
The symbol is exchanged
Your lives forever changed
It should not be compromised for anything
Don't break the ring

Most people seem to think
The bearer hold the key
Can call off the trust and break the vow
Why can't anyone see
The bearer cannot break it
Even if he wills it so
When his heart belongs to his Savior
In the end, EVERY knee will bow

You say "I Do"
You join hands and move
Into a holy covenant
Between the Lord and you
The symbol is exchanged
Your lives forever changed
It should not be compromised for anything
Don't break the ring

Once the vow has been made
The partakers must stand and say
My commitment I'll prove
Yes, I will be loyal to you

You say "I Do"
You join hands and move
Into a holy covenant
Between the Lord and you
The symbol is exchanged
Your lives forever changed
It should not be compromised for anything
Don't break the ring
